Server MaintenanceThe JETS, JETS Workforce and NED KPI sites will be unavailable from midnight Sunday 29th for 2 hours for server maintenance.
History of the programme
The JETS Workforce programme is built on the All Wales Endoscopy Competency Framework (AWENcf) to replace the previous programme Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for Nurses (GIN). Unlike the GIN programme JETS Workforce is designed for the whole endoscopy workforce; endoscopy nurses, healthcare assistants, operating department practitioners, decontamination technicians and other related roles. The programme completed a successful pilot in 2018 and launched in 2019.
About us
JETS Workforce provides a standardised framework for training and clear standards the workforce can work towards. This allows the service to clearly identify any gaps in knowledge, skills and experience in their workforce. For the staff, this provides them not only access to the standards but also access to training and further learning. We want to help the endoscopy workforce to feel valued, increase their job satisfaction and provide them with that sense of achievement through certification. The programme is made up of three key elements:
Benefits of the programmeFor the service
For the workforce
For patients
